I am reading the Twilight series and am waiting for the movie to come out in my country. I just wanted to know who was playing Jacob Black and if, in your opinion, he suits the role.

I’ve seen the movie, he isn’t bad but he doesn’t fully embody Jacob. He has this weird “trying to be cool” voice and actions and it’s not really the Jacob I saw in the books. They could have done worse though, his part his small in the movie and he could end up being alright in the next movie. I hope so because he’s my favorite character. They have a pretty good Victoria though, if you’ve gotten that far, she’s big in Eclipse.

Oh and the alice they picked is very similar to the character I imagined when I read the book. Charlie isn’t bad and neither are Emmett, Jasper, Esme and Carlisle (he’s gorgeous though not really Carlisle). Rosalie is not that great her accent slips when shes trying to portray the deliriously blonde Rosalie, I think the actress is Italian.

And Bella is ok, I think shes way different than the Bella I saw in the books but I’m sure its different for everyone, people tend to reflect themselves into the main characters of the book. And Edward, well in my opinion they could never have picked a perfect Edward because in his most basic form Edward is incredibly un-real. He is ultra-beautiful and well-spoken and over-thoughtful, etc. They did their best.
